FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

We have attempted to ask, and answer, many Frequently Asked Questions.  Of course, there is always one more.  Please feel free to Ask Us.  As my mother used to say, "The only stupid question is the one not asked."

Q: How long does it take?

A: Our normal turn around time is 24-48 hours.  However, there are times when research is more involved and requires additional time.  In such cases, the person requesting the search will be notified either by telephone or by facsimile.  Requests for additional information are always made by facsimile and research time depends on the client's response.

Say, "RUSH," so we will respond immediately

Add 50% to the research fees for guaranteed same day (24 hour) turn around.

Review of counties (Zone 3) outside the nine county primary area (Zone 1 and Zone 2), or states other than Texas, may require additional charges.   Rush service outside the nine county primary area is subject to agency turn-around time.

Response time includes business days only and excludes  weekends, some holidays and courthouse closure days.
